Why to visit Barcelona in a recession
Barcelona is always a great city to visit and during a recession there are many benefits to choosing Barcelona as your holiday or vacation destination.
1. The beach and boardwalk in their own right are a tourist attraction and it costs nothing at all to enjoy both of these facilities. The boardwalk stretches for a mile plus and provides for an enjoyable walk in the spring and summer air. The beach also very good with plenty of space and with easy access.
2. Walking the streets of Barcelona is also a wonderful for taking in the culture. You can see a number of Gaudi attractions without having to pay a penny. You can get an excellent view of attractions such as the Sagrada Familia from the outside and for free.
3. There are numerous cafes and bars in Barcelona and you for a very small cost you can sit for an hour or two with a coffee and enjoy the views and people watching.
4. There are many great areas in Barcelona for walking and this includes the popular tourist area of Las Ramblas. See the variety of street entertainers and displays down the length of Las Ramblas.
5. There are a number of parks in Barcelona including Guell Park and these parks mean the chance to get excellent views of Barcelona and to enjoy the great outdoors and without breaking the bank.
There is so much to do in Barcelona and it does not need to cost a lot fo money.
